Short rules, fairly enforced.
Your account is yours. Our lessons are ours. Everything else follows from that.
Effective date: 11 September 2026.
Acceptance of these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and PharmBit. By creating an account, downloading the app or using this website, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use PharmBit. If you are using PharmBit on behalf of an institution, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for that institution. Our privacy policy and medical disclaimer form part of this agreement.
Who can use PharmBit
PharmBit is built for post-secondary health students and professionals. You must be 16 or older to hold an account, and under-18s should have guardian permission where local law requires it. Nothing here restricts who may read the free content on this website.
Accounts
Your account is personal. Do not share credentials. You are responsible for activity under your account; tell us at hello@pharmbit.app if it is compromised. You can close your account at any time, and deletion is handled as set out in our privacy policy.
Subscriptions and auto-renewal
Reading stays free. Pro unlocks quizzes, drills, exam sim, offline packs and analytics, billed through the App Store or Google Play under their terms. Pro subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the period ending. Manage or cancel in your App Store or Google Play account settings; you keep Pro until the paid period ends, and cancelling partway through a period does not refund that period. Refunds are handled by the store under its policy, not by us. Any free trial ends immediately if you buy a subscription during it.
Termination
You can stop using PharmBit at any time and delete your account from inside the app or via our account deletion page. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and other than for serious or repeated breach we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right. If we close your account we will refund any unused paid period, except where the breach caused the closure.
Our content
Lessons, questions, explanations and blog guides belong to PharmBit. Do not copy, resell, scrape or redistribute them. Short quotations with attribution for study purposes are fine.
Acceptable use
No scraping, no automated harvesting, no reverse engineering, no abuse of support channels. Accounts breaching these rules may be suspended with notice.
Intellectual property
The PharmBit name, logo, lesson text, questions, explanations and site design are protected by copyright and trademark law. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership. Report infringement to hello@pharmbit.app.
Service availability
PharmBit aims for continuous availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, store outages and network failures may interrupt service. Offline packs cover study gaps where downloaded.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PharmBit excludes liability for study outcomes, exam results, and decisions made in reliance on content. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Dispute resolution
If something goes wrong, tell us first at hello@pharmbit.app and we will try to resolve it within 30 days. Most problems are settled this way. If we cannot resolve it, the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, except that nothing here removes your right as a consumer to bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live, or to use any dispute resolution scheme available to you there. Billing disputes for purchases made through the App Store or Google Play are handled by those stores under their own processes.
Governing law
These terms are interpreted under the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in your own country.
Not medical advice
PharmBit teaches pharmacology concepts. It is not a drug reference for clinical decisions. See the medical disclaimer.
Severability
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, that part is limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the rest remains in force.
Changes and contact
Material changes to these terms are announced in-app with 14 days notice. Questions: hello@pharmbit.app. See also our privacy policy and medical disclaimer.
