How PharmBit teaches pharmacology

Mechanism first, recall on demand.

Short lessons build understanding. Daily quizzes and spaced repetition lock it in.

1

Take a bit

One mechanism, one drug family, one focused lesson. No 40-page chapters, no list memorisation.

2

Understand it

Every effect traced to its root. Block this receptor, get that outcome in heart, lungs, kidneys, exams.

Why pharmacy students first

Built from practice, not a content studio.

Every lesson anchored to the exams students actually sit: NAPLEX, PEBC, GPhC, OPRA, PCN.

PharmBit comes from pharmacy practice. The founding frustration was watching students drown in drug lists that never explained why any two drugs differ, then watching those same students fail questions they could have reasoned through from one mechanism.

Starting with pharmacy students keeps every lesson anchored to the exams they actually sit. The same mechanism explanations then extend to nursing, medical and biomedical tracks, with dedicated preparation for NAPLEX, PEBC, GPhC, OPRA and PCN.

Pharmacist-authored content

Written by a pharmacist, checked against a standard.

Authored from primary references. Validated before publishing. Dated, corrected, accountable.

Authored from primaries

Every lesson starts from product information, guidelines and standard texts. Nothing scraped, nothing bulk-generated.

Validated before publishing

Every post is checked automatically against a written specification: minimum depth, mandatory sections, citation count, banned claims. It fails the post rather than warning.

Dated and corrected

Lessons carry last-reviewed dates. Verified corrections ship fast. Email hello@pharmbit.app.

Name clarification
